Questions people ask
Are the tours private?
Yes. Every tour is private: your own car and guide, just your group. On a few days the activity itself is shared with other guests, such as a sound and light show, a dinner cruise, a snorkeling boat or a balloon flight; your transfers and guide stay private.
Is hotel pickup included?
Yes. Every tour starts and ends at your hotel, and some Luxor and Aswan tours also pick up from Nile cruise boats. Each tour page shows the drive to the first stop.
What does the price include?
Each tour page lists what is included and what is not. Most tours include the car, the guide, water and the entrance fees to the sites in the program. Extras such as going inside the Great Pyramid or Tutankhamun's tomb are optional and not included.
Is lunch included?
On some tours, yes; on others it is optional. The key facts at the top of each tour page say which.
Are flights included on the day trips by plane?
No. On the day trips by plane, such as Cairo from Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh, the domestic flights are not part of the tour price.
Are the times on the tour pages fixed?
No, they are estimates. Your pickup time is confirmed when you book, because traffic and your hotel's location change it.
Can I skip a stop or change the order?
Ask before you book and we will tell you what is possible. Shopping stops are optional, and you can skip them.
How do I book?
Send a quote request with your date, your group size and your hotel. We reply with the price and the plan for that day; you confirm, and we book the pickup.
How do I pay, and can I cancel?
A 25% deposit, paid online by card or PayPal, confirms your booking, and you pay the rest in cash on the day of the tour. Cancel up to 24 hours before the tour starts and the deposit is refunded in full; you can also change the date free of charge up to 24 hours before, if the new date is available.
